New lands cannot be discovered,
if one cannot conquer his fear of the seas –
For if one dares not lose sight of the shore,
how can one cross over to the other?

Once in a while it is necessary for us to take some time off from our daily lives to relax and reflect. As said by Fernando Pessoa, an acclaimed 20th century poet from Portugal, “Contemplative souls live more intensely, more widely, more tumultuously than others who have lived their lives purely externally.” Contemplation adds meaning to our lives.
So harmonious in the sky –
as I saw and heard with my eyes
Lasting for a very short while,
Inviting appreciation –
Beauty without ending,
Is it still beauty?

My name is Felisa. I am an autodidact amateur photographer. I find the world beautiful and many things worth remembering, and that is why I take photographs. My work is marked with simple and natural tone with defined colors and discernible point of interest. |
I am currently pursuing my bachelor's degree while choosing for photography to remain as a hobby. Although my formal education tends to train my left brain more than the other one, I have always been fond of art.
I apprehend the human imagination and invention of the Internet. I am a strong believer of uniqueness, creativity, and identity.
The way I see it, an artist is someone who possesses the ability to find beauty in the most unexpected places. You are lucky, more than blessed, if you consider yourself to be one.
